  • Where do I get my scripts?
    • If there are scripts for the courses, you can find out on the respective course page in TISS. • Can I have courses from other fields of study credited?
  • Are there any entrance restrictions/ entrance tests?
    • There are no admission restrictions for the Bachelor’s programs in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering – Mechanical and Process Engineering. However, there is the so-called study VOR-phase.
  • VOR- Phase (Preparation and Reflection Phase)
    • It must be completed before you can enroll in one of our bachelor programs (MB, WIMB, VT) and consists of two online tests, a self-assessment test and a math test. The result should help you to decide about the study choice, for the study itself you can start this with any result of the two tests.
  • Additional exam from Descriptive Geometry
    • In principle, every student has to take this exam, but students who have successfully completed at least 4 hours per week in the course of their previous education from upper secondary school onwards can have this additional exam cancelled. Whether you have to take this additional exam will be clarified at enrollment, you can also read it afterwards in the study sheet. This lecture is a prerequisite for admission to the degree program and can therefore not be credited to the degree program. You do not have to classify Descriptive Geometry when submitting your bachelor’s degree in TISS, because the dean’s office only checks whether the exam has been taken.
